It's a challenge for the Australian squad to achieve unprecedented feats.

The greatest achievements have been successfully scaled.

We're talking about the team that has won seven Cricket World Cups, in addition to another six T20 titles, and earlier maintained 1,294 days without defeat in 50-over cricket.

The secondary achievements, targeted by the peak baggers, are all that remain for a side that has won it all.

The fact it required as late as Sunday's victory by three wickets over India for them to accomplish their maiden ODI chase over 300, taking back their record for the biggest in the women's 50-over format, is, frankly, a testament to the bowling attack that have worn canary yellow over five decades.

It's challenging for their batters to hold a record if not afforded the opportunity.

If this newest brilliant performance surpassed that earlier display is debatable.

Many contend the reasoning behind final game tension. Different voices suggest with the challenge that comes when facing a record target and an enthusiastic Indian fanbase of 20,000.

What is certain is this ton was far harder to see coming.

The Christchurch carnage in 2022 came as she was the highest scorer, but this knock came after six matches in India from the beginning of the previous month in which she had been unable to reach 30.

"If you've been watching me in training, it was a disappointing period because it seemed I've had no rhythm whatsoever," said Healy.

"However when you step out on the field, your fighting spirit activate and you simply focus on the competition."

Healy's competitive nature has consistently been her key asset - and a priceless quality in succeeding iconic ex-skipper Meg Lanning.

She was tormented by India's emerging talent Kranti Gaud in recent ODI series, fallen to the young fast bowler in each encounter, but here that only provided Healy's inspiration.

A single came off Gaud's first delivery and after that Healy was in motion.

"The possibility to play and lock in a contest with her and merely enjoy the moment in that regard, somewhat inspired me," said Healy.

She achieved fifty in 35 balls - her quickest at a World Cup - and her hundred in 84 as she flogged anything short, striking 21 boundaries and three big hits.

When she was dismissed Australia needed 66 more at one run per ball - an achievable target now needing a comfortable finish.

"Pursuing 330 is uncharted waters so I'm pleased we have the belief to accomplish that now," added Healy.

"Hopefully we don't have to do it another time but, should it happen, we believe we can do it."

Those words will be the last rival teams at this World Cup should hear.

During the last week a feeling they will triumph from any situation has grown stronger - this success coming after victory over Pakistan by 107 runs despite sitting at 76-7 at one stage.

Subsequently Australia meet Bangladesh before a meeting with old rivals England in Indore in ten days, by which point a semi-final berth may probably be guaranteed.
